Superdeportivos Cantabria is the biggest Supercar event in Spain every year. In 2014 Drive
Espana informally took part and since 2015 we have returned annually as full participants with a group of UK cars. We are looked after brilliantly and there is a car show, drive outs, receptions, gala dinners (with excellent food) and the chance to meet like minded owners as well as the car mad people of Santander and Cantabria. The event grows in numbers from when we join on Wednesday to the Saturday climax with up to 150 cars. No need to worry about language barriers—most people we meet speak some English and there is usually an English speaker with the organisers The Spanish really know how to party—and this is a great party!
Our hotel in Santander is carefully chosen to have ramp-free access to the parking as well as being within walking distance of some of the main events.

| Mon 24 May | Evening departure from Portsmouth on Brittany Ferries Salamanca |
| Wed 26 May | Arrive in Santander and drive 70 miles to Potes in the Picos de Europa. Visit the museum of El Coteron (brandy makers) and lunch and then go on (15 miles) to the Parador of Fuente de for a two night stay |
| Thurs 27 May | There is an option to go up the cablecar to the peak of the Picos de Europa before setting out to Riano for lunch |
| Fri 28 May | As the organisers put it—a route, lunch (venue TBC) and check-in to the Hotel Santemar in Santander before a black tie dinner at the Palacio de la Magdalena just three miles away |
| Saturday 29/ Sun 30 May | Morning car show in Santander and City Parade before lunch at MareMondo—a favourite restaurant walking distance from our hotel. Later we’re dining at the Casino and that’s closer! On Sunday there will be a drive out around the bay to Itxaski—a stunning Basque seafood restaurant before our farewell dinner at Restaurante Kairos |

| Tue 1 June | Mid afternoon arrival at Plymouth |

Includes return ferry crossings from Portsmouth return to Plymouth with twin outside cabin.
