Aston Martin Atlantic Coast Adventure
10-22 June 2026
For the last couple of years we’ve been following versions of the Alonso trail but 2026 will be very different (although we will be close to the Alonso Museum if you want to visit) 2026 is all about the Spanish Atlantic coast and we have stops along all of it from the border with France to the border with Portugal. We start at beautiful San Sebastian, stylish and accomplished with outstanding gastronomy, shops, the river and a real buzz. Then we go to Palacio de Luces for a a chill, visit Oviedo or go to the beach. Cap Finistere is well named and our stop at Costa da Morte is only a few miles away. At the heart of rugged scenery it’s close to the Cape, and close to Santiago de Compostella. We move on to Baiona on the west coast. Here the first of Columbus’ ships stopped for repairs on the way back from the New World. It’s a favoured jumping off point for people sailing transatlantic. Cutting off the corner to get back to the North we have a night at the beautiful monastery at Santo Estevo and we finish with a real find—Mirador LaFranca, very hidden away. Then it’s off to Santander for the Sunday Ferry.
